The only weekly comedy night in the city Friday Night

show we provide four brilliant
comedians hand-picked to give you the best night out for
the lowest possible price.

We pride ourselves on bringing the best acts to Chester hosting events most days. Throughout the warmer months we host large live events in Rufus Court and our festivals days in the Alexander's Beer Garden. Please note that some events will require tickets to gain entry and at most events seating is unreserved and extremely limited. However, the dance floor will be in full swing!

Sunday - Live Jazz, Folk or Blues from 2pm

A live injection of Bruce Juice during the long months between Bruce Springsteen’s European tours, this new band provides a vibrant tonic pumped into every aching hungry heart. A Springsteen-inspired experience that captures the unique seven-piece band line-up and arrangements from legendary concerts from the Main Point to the Bottom Line, Passaic and Winterland.
The first half reproduces the original arrangements from the 1970s Wild, Innocent and a slow, bluesy ‘E’ St Shuffle as well as the iconic anthems from the ‘Born to Run’ tour. The second half moves into the 1980s and captures the crisp, rasping sound of “The Professor’s” piano, Federici’s organ and Clarence’s sax from ‘The River’ tour, as well as a few stadium foot-stompers from the ‘Born in the USA’ tour.
There are a couple of surprise gems thrown in there as well, with some great Bruce songs that don’t normally feature, but much loved by Bruce fans, along with many of the usual favourites as well. This is the only Springsteen tribute band that combines the essence of Springsteen’s arrangements in legendary gigs with the many favourites to produce an unforgettable show.
