“Music for the Soul” - In aid of CSASS Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service
A night of music to raise your vibrations and enlighten your soul. Musicians have come together to provide a fabulous evening of musical delights - perfectly blended styles of music to make your experience one to remember.
We are proud to announce Alabaster Queen will be performing a soulful unique blend of folk, rock and blues. Likened to Annie Lennox and Tracy chapman, local artist Berni Lee is a well established laid back acoustic cover artist from Chester who puts her own twist onto every song in her set. Easy listening with a unique style.
More acts to be announced.
Kathryn Graham, local artist, only 16 years old will wow you with her collection of acoustic covers.
The night will be raising much needed funds, and awareness of Chester Sexual Abuse SupportService (CSASS). CSASS supports survivors of sexual violence and abuse, in the Chester area.
We are incredibly grateful to Alexander’s for hosting this event for us.
During 2017/18 CSASS helped 84 people through the offer of 844 counselling sessions and responded to 250 calls to the support line. Rape Crisis centres nationally helped 78,000 peoplelast year - an increase of 17% on the previous year.
CSASS clients say ‘It has been a hard road, but I can truly say I don’t think I would be in such a positive place as I am today without (your) help’ ‘having this kind of support makes everything manageable, and allows you to move on to a better place in your life’ ‘You were the first organisation to make something happen for me . . . you really made me feel less alone’
