Pastry Shoes on the train and Dr T-Bone Blues Band at Alexanders
With sweet and compelling female vocals and harmonies, a single guitarist who skilfully creates the sounds of a full band, and the smooth, melodic tones of the tenor sax, Pastry Shoes will soothe you with easy-listening and familiar jazz and swing numbers, or have you singing and dancing to popular hits from the 1950s to the present day. Engaging and fun, warm and whimsical, looking snazzy and sounding stylish,
Dr T-Bone Blues Band are firm favourites on the North West England and North Wales gig circuit, bringing the house down wherever they roam. The Docs repertoire is extensive and varied including Chicago Blues, Bar Room Boogie, T Bone Walker style jump blues and some rollicking, jazz tinged R&B classics and hidden gems. With their winning combination of a tight rhythm section overlaid with honking sax, smoking guitar and soulful vocals these purveyors of high quality Blues and R&B will bring the house down wherever they roam. If your medicine is the sound of great artists such as Willie Dixon, Chuck Berry, Johnny Guitar Watson or Ray Charles, you'll find the doctors can provide the perfect prescription.
