Friday Night Comedy brings the very best comedians from the UK and beyond to Alexander’s Live in the heart of Chester.

The only weekly comedy night in the city Friday Night Comedy will keep the laughs coming thick and fast week after week. For each
show we provide four brilliant comedians hand-picked to give you the best night out for the lowest possible price.

We also have our amazing bar, offering a huge selection of craft beers, ales, lagers, wine, gin, rum, whiskey, cocktails, soft drinks
and much, much more. you can be sure Friday Night Comedy customers will all have a great night out! It’s an offering like no other
elsewhere in Chester!

We pride ourselves on bringing the best acts to Chester hosting events most days. Throughout the warmer months we host large live events in Rufus Court and our festivals days in the Alexander's Beer Garden. Please note that some events will require tickets to gain entry and at most events seating is unreserved and extremely limited. However, the dance floor will be in full swing!

Saturday - Great party bands and tributes to get the dance floor filed

Sunday - Live Jazz, Folk or Blues from 2pm

The Fleetwood Mac Songbook' features six experienced musicians who are dedicated to recreating the magical sounds of one of music's most enduring groups – Fleetwood Mac! Touring across the UK since 2018, and earning rave reviews from Fleetwood Mac fans and venues wherever they appear, The Fleetwood Mac Songbook's dynamic, hit packed show includes well loved songs from all eras of FM's incredible six decade career ... Go Your Own Way, Little Lies, Dreams, The Chain (the Formula One racing theme song), Don't Stop, Everywhere, Rhiannon, Seven Wonders, Oh Well, Big Love ... from the 60's 'Blues' incarnation of the band with frontman, Peter Green, through to the 70's massive, multi million selling 'Rumours' album and slick 80's, hit single packed production, 'Tango In The Night' this is a popular show for all ages and the urge to get up and dance always proves to be irresistible!


Earning rave reviews wherever they play and ranked in the 'Top 20 Tribute Artists & Bands in the World' by Champions UK plc Entertainment Agency, six piece tribute band 'The Fleetwood Mac Songbook' are bringing their non-stop, hit packed show to The Electric Theatre.


The band perform a spell binding recreation of the stellar 'songbook' of 'Fleetwood Mac', drawing from over six decades of songs. Their set of course includes soft rock anthems from the 'Rumours' and 'Tango In The Night' albums but they don't forget founding member, Blues guitar legend Peter Green, and dedicate a portion of the show to a selection of his work.

Every detail is immaculate to ensure that the unmistakable 'Mac' sound is recreated faithfully - the exceptional three part harmonies are a standout as well as the band's guitarist using the famous Lindsey Buckingham Rick Turner model of guitar that gives the songs that final polish.


You will be assured of a night to remember in the company of these fine musicians for an unforgettable evening suitable for all ages.
